I believe that the winner is not the one that wins the match, but the one who is still alive after the match is over. That is why running away or rather triving away" is a very important tactic. "Why?" you might ask, because #yolo that's why. Darwin was wrong it isn't survival of the fittest, it's the survival of the quickest. Quickest>Fittest

I advise people to think twice about using the above strategies in their playing.

There's a difference between choosing the hard path and the easiest. That difference will determine how fast you acquire skills.
Albeit, there are skills to develop as a runner (which are referred to as EVADE / CROSS for the AI players); if you ask me, playing 0 rubber offline can do just as much to help those skills, as running on a public server.
Not that it is a bad thing to do that in a public server (Mike...) but if anything it is good to keep the other players on edge and come up with better, more aggressive, attacks
This is the way I see it: If you are playing for the win, then play for the win. If you are playing for your skills, then play to learn.
/me thought more than twice

durf, I dont think people will do a lot of winning by running away. Probably just a lot of DZ deaths

There's more to running than just running ;o But that's for a pro to figure out. Though you're right, it doesn't get the job done quickly enough.
